Code Stack was a concept founded by two best friends, the name however - well it came about after a discussion with my then 100 year old Grandmother, let me explain...

Grandmother (or the boss as I called her) was called Catherine Stack.
When Code Stack was starting out, I had trouble naming it aptly.
Gran, in her wisdom, asked if I would keep her name in it, meaning her family name.
So I got my thinking hat on, and Code Stack was born.

Code Stack, if you break the name up, is named directly after my Grandmother.

You see in my world, my Gran was a legend. Grandmother was born on March 1st, 1916, and passed away on April 17th, 2018 at the age of 102!
When Gran set herself a challenge, she conquered it, so naming it after the woman I called boss - seemed, and still is to me the ultimate way to remember a woman who gave me more drive than anyone else I know.

So here is what

Code Stack

means...

C = Catherine

ode = an ode to my Gran

Stack = our family name
